Submit a Course or Presentation for CE Approval

Rhode Island Mental Health Counselors Association (RIMHCA) invites individuals and organizations to submit proposals for workshops, courses, and presentations to be considered for continuing education (CE) credit for Licensed Mental Health Counselors.

All submissions will be reviewed to ensure they meet state requirements and professional standards for CE approval.

Review & Approval

RIMHCA’s Education Committee will review all submissions for:

Relevance to clinical practice in mental health counseling
Clear alignment with continuing education standards
Accurate and evidence-based content
Ethical and professional appropriateness

Approved courses/presentations will be granted CE status and promoted through RIMHCA’s website, newsletters, and events calendar.

CONTINUING EDUCATION ENDORSEMENT POLICY AND PROCEDURE

After review and acceptance of this application, the RIMHCA board will convey an approval number to the contact person for this application with an approved evaluation form to be used at the event. This person is responsible for providing the completed evaluation forms and a copy of the roster of attendees successfully completing the event within thirty (30) days of the training.
